Our Story

Hannon Sales was formed when its sister company Hannon Digital was sourcing leads through digital marketing activities but many of the clients did not have enough sales people to follow them up. This highlighted a shortage of sales talent in the UK. Most clients said that hiring and retaining great sales people was difficult to do and expensive, and the best sales people often left for sales career progression, sales coaching and a variety of other work.

 

Hannon Sales provides some of the best sales talent in South Africa to sell into the UK. Our service is contract based – so tell us what your requirement is and what your budget range is and we will tell you straight away if we can help you.

FAQ

Where are you based?

Our UK office with our account managers is in Imperial Wharf next to Chelsea Harbour in London; and our South African office is in Sandton in Johannesburg which is one of the nicest business districts and shopping districts in the country. This is where our sales agents sit. It's a very nice place to visit and there are lots of overnight direct flights from the UK. Come and see us if you are in South Africa. Our CRM, and web development team are in Mumbai, India.

What is the time difference?

South Africa is one hour ahead of the UK in the British summer. Our staff work to UK office hours though so we start an hour later and we work an hour later - that is one of the reasons why we are so happy on the phones!

Is there someone I can meet regularly and locally in the UK?

Yes our account managers are in London who can travel to see you regularly and report on our performance and results. We realise that it's nice to have a local face and to be able to meet face to face sometimes.

What does Hannon Sales need to know to give me a quote?

We need you to answer the following questions and you can answer them on the phone or you or a colleague can answer them here online and we will come back to you with a quote.

Do I get to interview my Hannon Sales people?

Yes if we have to hire new people you can interview them at second interview stage or if you are using existing staff you can talk to them any time.

Are there any special terms for working together?

Clients must pay monthly or quarterly in advance for the sales agents' retainers and for our staff management costs but luckily these are much, much cheaper than hiring someone in London. We then bill separately for bonuses and commission once we have achieved our targets for you.

We require a one month written notice period if you want to stop working together. If or when you end your contract your allocated Hannon Sales staff are then allocated another client by us and moved to that client the day your contract ends.

You agree not to pay or hire or contract any of our staff or contractors directly or else you must pay a £30,000 recruitment fee to Hannon Sales within 7 days of them starting work for you as an employee or as a contractor.

Can I listen to the calls?

Yes you can listen into live calls whenever you like or you can listen to your recorded calls so that you are happy that the sales team are sticking to their training and representing you in a professional manner.

What is the lead in time to launching?

This really does depend on how organised you are with your data and your training materials and your requirements and how many sales agents you require and how quickly you can sign the agreement and pay your first invoice. The delay is more likely to be on your side than on ours. Tell us what you want and you will see how we are agile and proactive.

Is there a set up fee?

We don't charge a set up fee but we do charge for the agent' retainers and management fees monthly or quarterly in advance. Bonuses and commission are paid separately after we achieve your results.

What if I don’t know which service is best to achieve my results?

So long as you have a quantifiable requirement and a budget let's talk.

Can I run a pilot or shorter term contract to see how it goes?

Yes - We can run sales campaigns for a month or a quarter or for a year and we are totally flexible so tell us what you need: but remember that if you don't commit contractually to keeping your dedicated sales agents they will be moved to other clients and we will have to train new people for your next campaign, which may slow you down.

Is our data protected and secure?

Your data is totally secure with us: we access your CRM system or your data only for the purpose of the sales activities and we don't ever keep or share your data.
